About

Hockey career started at age 15 with Trafford Tigers based at Altrincham. Progressed to Altrincham Aces in the mid 80’s before moving to Deeside Dragons. Had a hockey break of 9 years after joining the Fire Service in Manchester. Dusted off the skates in 2004 when the UK Firefighters Ice Hockey Team was formed for the World Firefighter Games in Sheffield, winning the silver medal. Further silver medal in 2008 when the games came to Liverpool. Mixed fortunes in World Police and Firefighter Games in New York 2011 and Belfast 2013. Over recent years played recreational hockey with Deeside Demons and Altrincham Aces recreational team and am proud to have been involved with raising thousands for various charities with the UKFF Team. Been around hockey most of my life and intend to keep it that way as long as possible.
